"These results are testament to the strength of this great region and why I’m still here winemaking after nearly 30 years! I love that the Great Southern can produce excellent crisp dry Rieslings through to well flavoured Cabernets and with our significant vineyard assets, we’re able to be one of the most consistent producers in Western Australia. It’s a great result for everyone in the vineyard and the winery."

West Cape Howe 2013 ‘Book Ends’ Cabernet Sauvignon - James Halliday review.

WEST CAPE HOWE 2013 Book Ends’ Cabernet Sauvignon

“10 days on skins, portions separately matured in new and used French barriques for 18 months with a further 12 months maturation in bottle. A pure, powerful and perfectly balanced cabernet at the start of what will be a very long life. It oozes blackcurrant, bay leaf and savoury notes on its long palate and aftertaste, the oak certainly evident, but equally subservient to the fruit and tannin of the wine. Another snap bargain from West Cape Howe.” 95 Points
